I had planned on shooting my own family portraits this year with a tripod and a timer. But as we inched closer and closer to the Christmas season, it has seemed my little man has gotten less and less cooperative. So when a friend and fellow photographer asked if I would shoot her maternity portraits, I jumped at the chance to do a "trade." The weekend after Thanksgiving, we got together and shot these pictures in the walnut orchards around our forever home. I thought I'd share them here in case you'd like to see the cute little distractions that keep me away from my sewing machine so very often. : )
