The Days of Our Lives

This idea originally came from a keychain I saw on Pinterest. I loved the idea of using pennies from significant years as some sort of decor. Since I didn't want a keychain, I decided on this wall hanging. One penny for each of the milestones in our lives (so far).

It took a little bit of effort to find a penny for each year and to find the variance on the oldness/newness of the copper colors that I wanted.

And, unrelated, but here's a cute picture I took this morning at the park - mama and baby duck. Happy Mother's Day!

Oh man, I LOVE the penny idea! I think I might copy it. Or at least Pin it! And that pic of the ducks could be a postcard or a greeting card or something! Do you have an etsy shop?

Hello - Do you know of anyone who makes these?

Second the question on assembly - any tips for what worked/didn't work? Heavy cardstock and hot glue? Covered cardboard?

Thanks!
