Autumn is my favorite time of year. A break from the heat, the beautiful colors, the anticipation of the holidays to come.
I cut out some leaf shapes and asked my daughter to paint them with her watercolors.
I love the way the light from the window makes the colors look so dreamy.
Using a standard hole-punch and some cheap ribbon, I strung the leaves together and added a bit of tape to the backs to keep them in place.
And added her name and the year to the back, just in case I should decide to keep these pretty leaves for the rest of my life.
