Ribbit

I am now 24 weeks pregnant and have started sewing for our baby boy. I'm not typically drawn to fabric with characters, just not really my style. But I love frogs. And our oldest child loves frogs. And this Robert Kaufman fabric screamed at me ("ribbitted" at me, perhaps?). How can you not love these little faces?

Because I love the fabric so much, I was very hesitant to cut it up and destroy any of the ribbits. So, after much consideration, I decided to just make horizontal stripes in varying widths, using other fabrics to flaunt the vibrant colors. This quilt came together SO quickly! No measuring, no seams to match up.

Aren't they cute?

The binding is a bright blue to frame it up...

And the back is the very vibrant teal swirl fabric. Love that.

Ribbit ribbit!
