The backing is fabric from Ikea.
I quilted in white thread in concentric squares to compliment the pattern of the blocks.
The binding is a plain black, but I used a fancy stitch to add a little interest.

Black and White Throw
I was able to finish the black and white throw blanket today - just under the wire of baby's arrival. I'm thrilled to have it complete in time for Autumn and some snuggle time on the couch with my two children.
