My daughter took a very long nap today (*thank you to her daddy who took her to the park and let her run off some energy this morning). I was able to finish the quilt top for the black-and-white throw blanket during her afternoon snooze.
I'm still hoping to finish the quilt before the baby arrives. This still may be a very unrealistic goal - I am about 37 weeks pregnant, 2 cm dilated, and having a contraction as I type these words...
I can't decide how to quilt it and hoping someone has an idea to inspire me. I'm not up for stippling this one, but a simple square grid seems a little boring. Any other ideas?

what about striping it the entire length of the quilt maybe 1 inch apart or even do the width. It would look cool.
I say stipple it, so that the baby comes. If you do something quicker, you'll end up waiting!
I saw a quilt on flicker that was loose wavy lines about an inch or two apart down the entire length of the quilt: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ramblingyarn/3474190030/
There are some great ideas on there!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole black and white them! I agree with Kelly O. on the striping the entire length.
