I made a little bag this afternoon... this time using
a pattern from this book and I am pleased with how it turned out. It's just the right size, although I may have a hard time getting my hands on it. A certain little toddler seems to be claiming it as her own.

I love the lining fabric - it's just the right splash of color.

The bottom of the bag is squared, which was very easy to do ~ and I learned something new today!

i absolutely love this purse. it is so gorgeous.
Hello I came over from Sew Mama Sew. I love your bag!!! I especially love how you did the handles. I have been working on different handle methods. would you share your secret? did you finish them then tie them in a knot and then attach to the outside? They are really cute.

Grace - you are exactly correct! I tacked them own on the outside of the bag after pulling the knots very, very tight.
Thanks Jodie!! I am going to try that on one of my next bags.
