I finally jumped in and got something completed from my to-do list... I've been wanting to make a small throw pillow with the leftover fabric from my
black-and-white quilt. I've been playing with the idea in my head for weeks now and couldn't settle on a design idea. So today I just jumped in and started cutting and sewing and just went with it until I had a pillow-shaped quilt.

Detail of the fabrics...

The back...

As you can probably tell (or not?), it's a little bit too big for the stuffing pillow. Next time I will try a different technique for measuring (like using a measuring tape and not just my eyeballs and quick judgment). But it's cute, it's washable, and it's done and sitting pretty on my couch (with one of my helpful assistants).

Ok. Now you can't tell me you don't know how to sew anymore because frankly, you CAN sew. Can't wait to see that beautiful purple quilt you're making for your sis. I love purple.
