Art in Exeter

Laurie, Mia, and I visited the town of Exeter this weekend to check out a quilting store called Stash Builders. It was great! Very nice fabric selections and very inexpensive.

Look at that face... she liked the store, too - maybe a future quilter?

After shopping and lunch, we visited the old courthouse building, which is hosting a quilt show made by local quilters. LOVED it!

This is a quilt made by the owner of the quilt store - and she offered to teach the class if I am interested! Heck yeah! I would love to learn how to make a quilt with circles.

Mia seemed interested in the class, too.

Another favorite... I love the patchwork of fields in the bottom of this quilt.
