Just one block to report... this is to give away, but wouldn't a bunch of these string blocks make a really dreamy quilt?
I haven't had much to report lately. I do have a quilt-in-progress, but no pictures to share. It's a pinwheel baby quilt and the blocks are all done and waiting to be sewn together. I also have a bunch of baby bibs all cut and pinned, waiting for assembly.
But for now, I'm off to Northern California for a long visit with family and friends (and to ditch this heat for a little while). Not much sewing will be happening, but I am hoping I can do some more embroidery and maybe a little shopping. And plenty of projects to come home to next month.

O my goodness; this purple block is just beautiful! I am (VERY slowly) making a scrappy string quilt, but now that I've seen your block, I may have to consider a one-color string quilt in the future. :)
