A Quilt for a Homeless Child
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may recall that I got a little carried away in making quilts for our new son. I ended up making FOUR quilts for our little guy. And while I love quilts and I love Matthew, I've decided that we don't need that many quilts for this child. One of my goals for 2009 was to donate a quilt to a worthy cause. And when I heard about Margaret's Hope Chest and the goal to make quilts for homeless children this Christmas, I knew instantly that one of our quilts had found a new home.
Here's the quilt that I will be sending to a needy child. I sincerely hope he/she finds comfort and warmth under it's fabric.
