Navy Blue & White

I finished this quilt on the 4th of July. I liked the idea of a blue and white quilt to hang with my red and white quilt on the quilt ladder my dad made me. It's so cute for 4th of July! I also love to use red, white, and blue for Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. ❤️🤍💙

The whites are a variety of low volume prints from a bunch of different fabric lines. The navy blues are all prints from Bonnie & Camille. The backing is my favorite cheater print from Nantucket Summer fabrics.

Green & White

 I made these green and white placemats for a Christmas gift and added a green and white quilt to my wish list. These fabrics (by Camille Roskelley) are just too dreamy. 

And here it is! I used a pattern from this book and I think it looks so pretty in green!

Low Volume & Pink Triangles (Again)

I made a baby sized version of this quilt last summer and almost immediately knew I wanted a larger one to keep. I love these fabrics so much!

I made a quilt!

My first finished quilt since returning home! It was a slow process because I am still recovering, but I am SO happy with how it turned out. This is Latitude fabric by Moda, but is no longer available. I did find this similar fabric line and I love these prints, too! 

I used a black-and-white polka dot as the background.  

I love how it turned out and I'm snuggled under it right now, as I post these photos. 😍

Swoon Quilt

 I completed my Swoon quilt today. I am SO in love with this quilt, which will be pretty obvious when you see the number of photos I took of it.....  :P

 The blocks are 24" squares and take quite a bit of time. I love everything about them once they're complete. I used a variety of fabrics from a variety of designers. 

 The binding is the same gray chevron I used on the rainbow wall hanging quilt. 

 The quilting is free-motion stipple quilting with white thread. 

 The backing is a super soft gray damask print bed sheet. 

 Love this quilt. Love barns. Mmmmmmm...... : ) 

And a couple on the fence at sunset. Country life! 

Now just counting the minutes until the kids go to bed and I can snuggle under this quilt for a bit. I'm in love! The pattern is by Camille Roskelley and is available by clicking here. She also has a scrappy version that I am definitely putting on my wish list! 

Gray & White Chevron Quilt

My gray and white chevron quilt is complete! This is made with the same fabrics as my Gray Patchwork Quilt. I love these neutrals! This one is larger - it measures about 40x53" and is the perfect size for a couch blanket to snuggle under when your husband turns the air conditioning too low (or is that just me?!). I love that the shades of gray would compliment pretty much any home decor and looks pretty fabulous with all the blues in my house. 

 The quilting emphasizes the chevron pattern with repeating zig zags in the white fabric. 

 The backing is B&W.

Vintage Patchwork Quilt

A throw sized quilt, made entirely of vintage linens in a variety of floral prints.




The binding on this quilt is the only thing that isn't made of vintage linens - it's a charcoal gray solid.



The backing is the blue floral fabric I found last week.

Because the vintage linens are so so so soft, I don't like to add too much quilting. I love the lightweight feel of these quilts, so I stuck with a very simple grid quilting.

I think it's just pretty.

Blue & Green Circles

The blue and green circle quilt, inspired by the tutorial at Make it... a Wonderful Life, is finally done!

Detail of some of the circles - all raw edges sewn down with a zig-zag stitch.

My favorite is this fabric with the little houses and trees - I bought this on Etsy and it actually came from Hong-Kong. My first international purchase! (And maybe my last... it took forever to arrive!)

The border is pieced from the remaining fabrics - love how this turned out and it wasn't as much trouble as I thought it would be.

The inside is stipple quilted, the borders are not. I like the way it makes the quilt "pop" and I love the crinkly goodness.


The binding and backing is the same fabric from the carseat quilt. And I still have A BUNCH left, so I imagine you'll be seeing more of it in future projects.


This is my first pieced back - using some of the leftovers from the borders. It's not very dramatic, but it works. Although... I do have to admit it's a little crooked. How do you get them to line up straight?

I love this one and can't wait to snuggle up in it this evening.

And you know what? I have a clean slate right now, no unfinished projects (at the moment... give me an hour or two!).
