Gray Patchwork Child's Quilt - For Sale!

I finished this super sweet gray patchwork quilt today. It's super soft and I love the neutral grays and whites. So soothing!

 I quilted this one like similar to the Baby Boy Patchwork and Baby Girl Patchwork Quilts I made last month. I like this quilting so much better than the stitch in the ditch I've done before - I think it really frames each block. 

 The back of this quilt is a super cute blue and gray print and the binding is made with a soft blue bubble fabric. I love blue and gray together. 

 The fabrics came from all over the place. I've been collecting different gray prints for a while now, with a couple of quilts in mind. (Stay tuned.......).

 The quilt is about 34x38" - just the perfect size for a toddler bed or for an older child to snuggle up with to read a book or watch a movie. 

This quilt is for sale, so if you know a baby or child who needs a quilt, please contact me. I am a firm believer that children sleep better when they are tucked in underneath a quilt (my kids are good sleepers, afterall!).  

Baby Boy Patchwork

This fun boy's quilt is made with a fabric called "Peak Hour" by Riley Blake. I am so in love with the little classified ads. It measures about 26x35" and is 100% cotton. 

Super cute fabrics.  

 I quilted this with straight-line quilting on either side of the fabric seams. This is a super-soft quilt. 

 The backing is a blue and green polka circles. 

Baby Girl Patchwork Quilt

 This colorful little patchwork quilt is made with Amy Butler's "Soul Blossoms" and Moda's "Summer House" fabrics and measures about 27x42". I looove these colors so much. It is the perfect size for a baby quilt or as a wall hanging if you love these florals as much as I do! 

It's quilted with straight-lines on either side of the seams. This makes for a super soft feeling quilt. 

The backing is a fun colorful polka-dot and the binding is a soft green floral.

Placemats

 These placemats will also be for sale soon. This is a set of 4 placemats made with Arcadia and "Life Is" fabrics and measure about 12" x 17".

I think the text on this fabric would be a wonderful way to start the day. "Make life simple. Make life beautiful. Make life colorful. Make life relaxing." I love it!

The backing is a nice print in taupe and white and the quilting is a simple straight-line repeated 6 times horizontally. 

Blue & Green Circles

The blue and green circle quilt, inspired by the tutorial at Make it... a Wonderful Life, is finally done!

Detail of some of the circles - all raw edges sewn down with a zig-zag stitch.

My favorite is this fabric with the little houses and trees - I bought this on Etsy and it actually came from Hong-Kong. My first international purchase! (And maybe my last... it took forever to arrive!)

The border is pieced from the remaining fabrics - love how this turned out and it wasn't as much trouble as I thought it would be.

The inside is stipple quilted, the borders are not. I like the way it makes the quilt "pop" and I love the crinkly goodness.


The binding and backing is the same fabric from the carseat quilt. And I still have A BUNCH left, so I imagine you'll be seeing more of it in future projects.


This is my first pieced back - using some of the leftovers from the borders. It's not very dramatic, but it works. Although... I do have to admit it's a little crooked. How do you get them to line up straight?

I love this one and can't wait to snuggle up in it this evening.

And you know what? I have a clean slate right now, no unfinished projects (at the moment... give me an hour or two!).
