Navy Blue & White

www.sew-handmade.blogspot.com
I finished this quilt on the 4th of July. I liked the idea of a blue and white quilt to hang with my red and white quilt on the quilt ladder my dad made me. It's so cute for 4th of July! I also love to use red, white, and blue for Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. ❤️🤍💙

The whites are a variety of low volume prints from a bunch of different fabric lines. The navy blues are all prints from Bonnie & Camille. The backing is my favorite cheater print from Nantucket Summer fabrics.

Low Volume : Christmas Edition

www.sew-handmade.blogspot.com
I made another low volume and triangles quilt. Click here to see my pink version and my blue version. But this Christmas version might be my favorite yet!

I love these low volume Christmas fabrics so much! They're from a variety of designers. And the solid triangles are a bunch of red, burgundy, light green, and dark greens. I cut my light fabrics into 5 inch squares and sewed 2.5 inch squares into the corners to make the triangles.

I used these adorable gnome flannel sheets for the backing. So cute and so cozy!

I loved the pink version so much I made a blue one! And I love these both so much that I'm seriously tempted to make one in every color.

4th of July Pillow

I made a red, white, and blue pillow to go with my USA pillow for 4th of July this year. I think it turned out cute!

Low Volume & Pink Triangles

I made this sweet quilt for my cousin’s new baby and I love her and this quilt so much! I got to meet her over the summer when we had a family party and I held her almost the whole time and didn’t want to share her with anybody! I looooooove newborns so much and she was extra sweet and cuddly.

The quilt is made from a variety of 5 inch low volume prints and different shades of 2.5 inch pink solids for the little triangles. I love that it becomes a very soft and soothing I-spy quilt.
The backing is a very soft and pretty pink floral vintage sheet.

I was very happy I finished the quilt in time to take it camping with us before giving it away. We stay in the forest near Santa Cruz, CA every summer and it’s the perfect place to take quilt photos.

And my sweet cousin has been sending me photos every month as baby grows and uses her quilt. 🥰

All The Things Tote

I made an All The Things Tote to match my Patchwork Duffle. I love how it turned out and I am feeling a little obsessed with these pretty low volume fabrics.

Squares and Triangles Baby Quilt

http://sew-handmade.blogspot.com/p/completed-quilts.html
I was inspired to make this quilt by this I Spy quilt by Woodberry Way. I had this on my "design wall" for a while without loving how it was looking, so I scrapped my idea to make a throw sized quilt and made it a baby quilt instead. I needed two more blocks, so I added the red triangle squares and that was exactly what it needed. Now I LOVE this baby quilt and it is my favorite of the six baby quilts I finished this month. I will be moving back to my original plan of making a throw sized version of this to keep. And I am toying with the idea of making it even larger for our bed, although we have pets that I don't trust so that probably won't happen.

The light colored fabrics are mostly from the Riley Blake Hush line (affiliate link), with a few others mixed in. The solids are a variety of colors from the Bella line.

The backing is a cute black and white animal print.

I used free motion for the quilting and a small gray polka dot for the binding.

Dining Room Wall Quilt

www.sew-handmade.blogspot.com

I used the triangle scraps from my low volume swoon quilt to make this sweet little wall hanging.
www.sew-handmade.blogspot.com
It's made from the cream fabrics from various Bonnie & Camille fabric lines... my favorite.

We recently became the new home for my husband's grandparent's dining room set. It's come together nicely. The buffet and table are from his grandparents and the clock is from my grandma. I also have my other grandma's sewing machine in this room, so it's quite the connection to our grandparents in here!
I used this chicken wire board as decor and it "needed" a little wall hanging quilt. My idea is to use this board for holiday decor, but this quilt will be a nice neutral for in between.

Swoon

This was my second swoon-a-long quilt of the summer. I always love the cream fabrics from Bonnie & Camille's fabric lines, so I decided to try a low volume quilt.

I was a little nervous, but I love how it turned out! I had almost forgotten how much I love this pattern. You can view my first swoon quilt here and my second swoon quilt here
