Since I was a little girl, I have looooooved strawberries. We now live in Central California in a farming community and the fresh strawberries here are the best I've ever had. These giant strawberry blocks were fun to make, especially during strawberry season.
I used Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage book, although I made the blocks much bigger. I used 4.5" squares and half-square triangles instead of the 2.5" squares in the book.
