Update on Books

Here's what I've been reading lately, in case you're on the edge of your seat.  ;)

Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick. I actually listened to the audiobook version of this, which is read by the author. I found myself really enjoying her story and her humor.

Sisters First by Jenna & Barbara Bush was an interesting read and perspective of growing up in and after the White House.

Before She Knew Him was a fascinating, suspenseful, interesting book! This is the third book I've read by Peter Swanson and each book has been really great! See also: The Kind Worth Killing and Her Every Fear).

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - such a great title! I loved this book, it read like a celebrity gossip magazine, but based in the 1950s and 60s. This is the second book I've read from Taylor Jenkins Reid and I really like her style. See also: Daisy Jones & The Six.

The Girl Who Wrote in Silk is an older book (2015) based in Seattle a century ago and present day. I learned so much and loved the two women in the book.

We Never Asked for Wings. I read this because I loved The Language of Flowers so much. I liked this book a lot, too, but it was a little heavier that I realized (I was reading it on vacation... perhaps not my best choice!). It's about two families and the complicated issues involving immigration and family.

The Home Edit. I've followed these ladies on social media for a while now and I LOVE their colorful organization. This book is so pretty and was fun to read. Also motivating to get rid of and organize our whole house!
