A throw sized quilt, made entirely of vintage linens in a variety of floral prints. The binding on this quilt is the only thing that isn't made of vintage linens - it's a charcoal gray solid. The backing is the blue floral fabric I found last week. Because the vintage linens are so so so soft, I don't like to add too much quilting. I love the lightweight feel of these quilts, so I stuck with a very simple grid quilting. I think it's just pretty.
It's beautiful! I never get tired of seeing vintage sheet quilts. :-) Love the binding - I'll have to give that a try sometime (using a darker color). It's looks fantastic!
Love it! There is nothing like the feel of vintage sheets. Did you use batting or just do a summer quilt? I don't want it to be stiff at all so couldn't decide which to do.
LovE it! It's so colorful and cheery!
