My daughter took a very long nap today (*thank you to her daddy who took her to the park and let her run off some energy this morning). I was able to finish the quilt top for the black-and-white throw blanket during her afternoon snooze.
I'm still hoping to finish the quilt before the baby arrives. This still may be a very unrealistic goal - I am about 37 weeks pregnant, 2 cm dilated, and having a contraction as I type these words...
I can't decide how to quilt it and hoping someone has an idea to inspire me. I'm not up for stippling this one, but a simple square grid seems a little boring. Any other ideas?
what about striping it the entire length of the quilt maybe 1 inch apart or even do the width. It would look cool.
ReplyDeleteI say stipple it, so that the baby comes. If you do something quicker, you'll end up waiting!
ReplyDeleteI saw a quilt on flicker that was loose wavy lines about an inch or two apart down the entire length of the quilt: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ramblingyarn/3474190030/
There are some great ideas on there!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole black and white them! I agree with Kelly O. on the striping the entire length.
